Mission Statement
MACHINE Putters’ mission is to create new, innovative, high-performance, high-quality products and technologies to improve your enjoyment of the game of golf. All this on the first and only crowd-funding website in golf.
Over the years, hundreds of thousands of putters, grips and other clubs have been invented, designed, manufactured, built and shipped to golfers all over the world, including all 50 states and 36 foreign countries.
Ten Hall of Fame golfers and over 140 other tour pros have used Dave Billings’ innovative HOG and MACHINE designs, and won 17 Tour titles along the way, as well as countless other successes, awards and accolades.

Founders have skin in the game.
Dave Billings is co-founder, president & CEO, and the face of Dogleg Right and MACHINE Sports Technologies. Mr. Billings is an industry veteran with over 30 years in the golf industry. He is an avid inventor and was educated and trained as an artist and designer, earning a degree in Fine Arts from the Otis Art Institute of the Parsons School of Design in 1988. He began working in the Sporting Goods and Golf Industries right after graduation, and started his career working for and with some of the largest OEM’s in the sport, before branching off on his own with the start-up of Dogleg Right. Founded in 1994, Dogleg Right has launched several golf brands, including its own brands, and others for or with some of its past R&D, Manufacturing and Consulting Services clients. MACHINE Sports is the new sales and marketing arm, focusing on maximizing the great potential that is all things MACHINE via an innovative internal crowd funding e-commerce site. Billings has so far received 18 US and International Patents for his inventions, with numerous other patents pending, with more in the works!
Dave has teamed up with industry veteran Travis Fussell, whose background includes 30+ years of industry experience and the start up of multiple golf entities including Lone Star Golf, Fussell Putters, GOLFMAN, Golfer Blood and The BIG GREEN GOLF Tour. Mr. Fussell is a second generation putter designer/manufacturer. His uncle, Melvis Fussell, designed and milled putters for Black Rock Golf in the 1990’s.
